Youth Group Lenten Journey

 As part of our Lenten journey, we will be exploring our faith.  The only leader for our journey is Jesus.  The aim is to discover more about who God is and more about who we are.  Each week there will be a challenge. 

Week 4 – Praise Him

Jesus would often go somewhere to be alone and pray (Luke 5.16.).   But it doesn’t really matter how we pray as long as it comes from the heart.  The challenge this week is to pray every day in a different way.  Try some of the ideas listed below:-

Challenge

      Computer prayer - Choose your favourite prayer for your computer background or wallpaper, or choose a picture of something you want to pray for each week.

      Interactive prayer - log onto http://www.catholicireland.net/talk2god

        Its a fun way to pray – stay with it till the end.

      Bring a copy of your favourite prayer and put it on the Lenten Challenge board, so it can be shared with others.  Or put the name of someone on the wall that you would like others to pray for.

      Write out seven things or people you want to pray for on pieces of paper, and put them in a container.  Each day take one out and focus your prayers on what you have chosen.
